8/10 Ant Staff review, 08 July 2010
This is all decent fun on this 8 tracker, from heavy rollin' gangsta grime vibes with some sinister atmospherics to sleeker R&B elements. What is consistent through out is his beats. What I like in Particular is that occasionally you get a little vocal sample that sounds like some sort of munchkin, maybe that's thee Gremlinz. There's a couple of quite intense real slammers on here too. I like the big chords on the manic 'Menace' tune, like being chased by some bad ass droids. Terry's production really is as tight as it gets in this scene. He even slips a few cheeky amen's and Mentasm sounds into the title track which sound great, updating the old hardcore blueprint via dubstep/ garage. 'Upton Lane' is a superb future grime track and pushes all the right buttons. I'm not sure how well it all really works as an 'album' but it's a wicked selection of tracks for DJ's to play with. Yeah I really did call him Terry... Terry Danjah, I think it has a nice ring to it.
