A little birdie told me this fella was in Hood for a bit. I don't need a little birdie to tell me that this tape is pretty fantastic though. It contains a wealth of incredibly complex, odd but somehow strangely groovy compositions that seem to have been constructed from all manner of odds and sods but mostly steel drums and broken kids' keyboards (on the first side) and some sort of secret static 'n' bass feedback language that a gang of adrift satellites use to communicate until they eventually find each other, at which point they morph into a set of volatile, colliding molecules larking about with brass instruments (on the second side). It's hard to find a decent point of comparison but perhaps some of the Astral Social Club stuff or a far more abstract Lucky Dragons might give some sort of vague idea? Genre-defying and totally super.
