8/10 Phil Staff review, 15 April 2010
The schtick with this CD and it's selling point appears to be that it was made with no synths, no looping, no laptop and no guitars. Thus I have no idea what the music has been produced with on this CD. I'd like someone to tell me... Probably pedals, magic, bits of string and mirrors then? I can't believe there's no synths here... It's crazy! It is mongy synth (sounding) music which drones on and builds up into a chord over a very long period of time. It's trance like and when I first heard it I thought it was petty cool. You get drawn into the repetition. It's very kosmische... fans of Tangerine Dream, Emeralds etc take note... but it's more mantra like. I'm not really sure what else to say about it as it doesn't really do a lot but what it does it does well. You do feel a bit fried after listening to the album. It's quite a head fuck yet bizarrely satisfying.

10/10 Del Buck Customer review,

This is a fine CD for anyone into drone of the buzzzzzing kind - not really harsh but soothing and energising (to me anyway - everyone else I know says it makes them feel ill). I believe it was made using only effects pedals with no instrumental input - used to have a bit of fun making noises like that myself but sadly never produced anything as wonderful as this. They have made a couple of CDs before but (of course) they are well out of print. If you love drone - Jonathan Coleclough, Emeralds (older stuff), Phill Niblock and lots more too obscure to mention - buy this!
