Well this is a bit more like it from the Warp boys (and trust me, the new Autechre LP really does go some way to paper over the Lonelady/Babe Rainbow cracks based on our listen to the promo the other day), with Eskmo following up on his previous Planet Mu 12" with 'Lands and Bones', a handy tune that combines skittering beats tripping over their own feet, a slight wonky wooziness, some Zomby style 8-bit bleeps and a soul-y vocal sample to pleasing effect. I know nothing of Eprom outside of my PC's BIOS screen but based on 'Hendt' he's into doing rocking Distance-style dubstep, while sippin' lazer juice from diamond-encrusted goblets and playing on a Commodore 64.. It's not right, but it's OK. Like Whitney. Crack is cheap!
