Time for some black doom folk action from this mysterious Belgian bunch. What's great about this is that it's both dark and psychedelic and is exactly the sort of stuff that make me visualize witchcraft, pagan ceremonies and bizarre occult rituals. However having said that, although it feels very dark it doesn't feel evil and I think that's a fairly important distinction. The krautrock influenced second track has a really infectious and hypnotic repetitive groove that makes me think of people wearing cloaks and dancing around a huge fire. The third track (sorry I have no titles!) is a far trippier and wobbly number. Later on there are strange voices and things start getting more spooked out although it still remains accessible and at its core it's really rooted in classic psychedelia but with a fine, gritty production aesthetic. I reckon fans of the last record are gonna dig this.
