Soul Jazz's stellar Dancehall: The Rise of Jamaican Dancehall Culture gets a well-deserved follow up with another bumper release available in either 2CD or 4LP (over two double vinyl volumes) versions, featuring the likes of Yellowman (don't hold his albino-ness against him), Shabba Ranks (don't hold Mark Lamarr against him), Buju Banton (don't hold homophobia against him), Ini Kamoze (don't hold Prince Naseem Hamed's theme tune against him) and many more (don't hold the fact that I didn't mention their names against them). There's too much here to go into any real detail but from the tunes we've heard so far it's safe to say that it repeats the first set's trick of jumbling up well-known tracks and hidden gems to create an excellently flowing mix of Speed Reggae, as I've just decided to call it. If you want hilarious lyrics, vibrant instrumental invention and some quality photos you know what to do..
