Corey Fuller Seas Between

We got some new floaty loveliness from the Dragon's Eye label courtesy of Corey Fuller entitled 'Seas Between'. Fuller's work is spacious and delightfully atmospheric, blending acoustic instruments with found sounds and field recordings to create fragile, disconnected (yet blissfully tranquil) dronathons. 'Seas Between' begins with the sound of the Pacific Ocean, a body of water that holds great significance to the artist (Fuller has spent the majority of his life either living and working in Washington and Japan) and tie the six compositions together throughout. Contributions from John Friesen (Cello), Tyler Wilcox (saxophones and bass clarinet) and Tomoyoshi Date (piano and electronics) provide additional depth and character, particularly Tomoyoshi's swirling electronic pulses that are enough to make you queezy in the brain space. 45 minutes of tender, headphone friendly ambience you'll no doubt appreciate.

This is a fine release indeed, full of loops and swaying guitars. It never leaves your side from start to finish & has contributions from the magical Tomoyoshi Date & Tyler Wilcox. Best track??? all of them so go buy it.......here!!
