Old rock 'n' roll scenester BP Fallon offers his bizarre, amusing & wistful musings on American modernism & the cult of the dead celebrity on this ace little 7" through Third Man. 'Fame 9' is a great piece of cynical poetry, part Burroughs, part Quentin Crisp, part David Shrigley. This is the next installment in Jack White's sprawling, eclectic 7" collectors series, the shade of green back dropping the picture of this charming ol' feller is uber sublime, the flip is more surreal reminiscing in the form of an interview spliced a great bit of blues rock from Jackie Boy & co, pressed using the innovative split groove method, one source of audio from each channel! One of the week's more fascinating collectors pieces!
