8/10 Penrith Steve Customer review, 20th February 2015

"Here Are The Sonics" was originally released in 1965, and whist its selection of covers wasn't that original, the way they were played was. They blistered through versions of "Do You Love Me", "Have Love Will Travel", "Walking The Dog" and "Money" like a freight train on fire. The band distorted with the sheer volume at which they played. The best part about this album is the original compositions. "The Witch", "Boss Hoss" and especially the psychotic, throat-tearing "Psycho" and the powerful "Strychnine". "Here Are The Sonics" is a garage rock classic.
