Low-Point quickly follow up the excellent Celer - 'Brittle' CD with an album from Danish artist P Jorgensen. 'To' probably falls into the ambient drone category and feels very introspective. Low-Point quickly follow up the excellent Celer - 'Brittle' CD with an album from Danish artist P Jorgensen. 'To' probably falls into the ambient drone category and feels very introspective. The field recordings add a lovely earthy feel to the mix. I'm really chilling out to the birdsongs on here. Such lovely creatures birds... Especially the sparrow-hawk that destroyed a woodpigeon in my garden the other day. Fucking amazing to watch, I felt like David Attenbrough. I bet he like a bit of P Jorgensen. I mean who wouldn't as this is totally sublime and as it evolves it's very lovely. Actually I'm reminded of Celer at times with that smart acoustic sources transformed into shimmering emotional tones thing happening. This is very colourful and warm probably like Joseph's amazing technicolor dreamcoat. The disc plays for around thirty minutes and is split up into ten parts with a continuous flow. During this current onslaught of material in this style I'd say this is as pleasant as I've heard which I've come to expect from Low-Point who keep the quality control well above par. One big glorious sonic head massage that really does the job.
