The Randan Discotheque is a curious 7". 'Daily Record May 18th 1993' appears to be an homage to what happened in that very newspaper on that very day. It's produced by Neil Landstrumm of all folks so that's gonna get a few people interested from the start. Initially it makes me think of that Dan le Sac 'Thou Shalt Not Kill'. It's kind of similar in its approach and it's reasonably kooky. Though for some reason it's fairing much better with me than the Dan Le Sac tune did (which I found really annoying). I think I'm just enjoying hearing the words Beverley Allitt, Denis Law, IRA Bomb, Kasparov and Colin Hendry all in the same song. I'm pretty sure that's not been done before. It's tremendous fun actually and one you half Man Half Biscuit fans out there. It's fucking daft to be honest. Also there's a raffle ticket inside where you can wing things the band have made!! The draw will be made on Nov 30th..... Well exciting!!
