Bought this for the 15yo daughter. I remember as if it were yesterday, playing this LP constantly when it was first released. A timeless classic which still sounds great over twenty five years later.

'The Stone Roses self titled album has always been one of my favourites. Back when I was a teenager I had a dubbed cassette tape for years until I bought the 10th Anniversary CD - which presented the record on one gold and one silver disc in a soft CD fold out pack inside an outer sleeve; the cover artwork features a matte background with the artwork being a very high gloss finish and there is also extensive artwork and written material in the booklet between the two discs.

For the purists, the CD format has never really been a great way to present an album - but I don't think any CD was ever presented as well as this was: they really made sure that it was presented as a complete work of art and it will always remain in my CD collection which has diminished greatly over recent years....Then there was the 20th Anniversary: I bought two copies of Legacy Edition (CD), one which I gave to a friend and the other is still sealed; I also bought the 20th Anniversary Limited Collectors Edition Box Set - if you think this is obsessive well, maybe I felt guilty for not buying it when I was a teenager, or, you just don't really appreciate this masterpiece................

Anyway in my humble opinion, The Stone Roses 25th Anniversary Lemon Coloured 2LP Vinyl edition is my favourite vinyl presentation of this recording - having the songs spread over four sides really enhances The Stone Roses experience; (the songs could be played in an alternative order if you like)... looking forward to continuing to play this album for many years.

Great record, arrived perfectly with no flaws due too the great packing method this company use. It also arrived in the expected time. never heard this album sound so good, Could not be happier with it. Will definetaly be using Norman Records again in the future and i would strongly reccomend getting any records off this business.

I know it's a hackneyed choice but this really is a timeless album. Well worth a reissue.
