That very first album from The Specials has been reissued for your ska-pleasure! It is, to be fair, a classic, containing ‘A Message To You, Rudy’, ‘Too Much Too Young’, and ‘Concrete Jungle’, along with many more. Remastered from the original tapes and pressed to 180g vinyl by Chrysalis / Two-Tone, this is certainly worthwhile for any Specials fans.

10/10 Luke Knight Customer review, 12th November 2015

Aw where do we start with total gem!

A message to you Rudy is the opening track and it's gonna have you wanting to skank like a rude boy or rude girl in no time.

Infectious cockney lyrics on an imaginative two tone ska base, those horn section lines and synth parts are gonna transport you to inner city 1979 London are you're gonna be happy about it.

Produced by Elvis Costello the album describes how the disaffected British youth feel about their "Concrete Jungle". But that doesn't stop this album from being really really fun, Monkey Man is enough to get anyone out of their chair nodding their head.
