As far as I'm concerned Mick Harris is a total fucking genius. Since the days of Napalm Death he's been making extremely deep and uncompromising music under like a zillion different names with his most popular being Scorn. Recently he's been recording under that alias and creating some of the heaviest, murky, industrial dubstep on the planet. This week sees him releasing the 'In The Margins' 12" ...

This week sees him releasing the 'In The Margins' 12" on Record Label Records and it's super heavy monster bass time. A nice slow tempo leaves plenty of room for the eerie atmospherics and creepy sound design. When you lock into the gloom it's a real dark mind trip. B-side 'Pin Down' is super dark too. This is dubstep for the most twisted, sinister parties. The overall sound is wickedly paranoid and bleak and super ultra mega heavy. The sleeve has some cool pictures taken by Mick from his fishing trips and on the front features a supremely evil looking fish which he probably caught. If you dig the 'Stealth' album or the recent 'Super Mantis' 12" on Combat then you're gonna wanna crank up this superb 12" of black industrial strength doomstep!
