7/10 Penrith Steve Customer review, 6th July 2015

Nothing post-"Watusi" is as good as up-to-and-including "Watusi" in my opinion. There is a good standard though and "Take Fountain" which was initially supposed to be a Cinerama album, is up there with "El Rey" and "Valetina" as being among solid, if not spectacular albums. It opens with 2 minutes of ambiance called "On Ramp" which pleases me, I like the idea of an album getting ready to go. It bleeds into the wonderful and epic "Interstate 5", another break-up song. The best track on here is "I'm From Further North Than You". Dave Gedge is full of good ideas on this one as I also like the idea of simply being from the north not being good enough.
