Fuck's sake, I just had to spend about ten minutes searching for this Peeesseye CD on the site because I put the wrong date on it yesterday. I suppose it's not that much of a problem because for quite a while after it starts there's nothing really audible at all, maybe in an attempt to trick you into turning it up really loud for when the dissonant improv jamming kicks in. I remember doing that in sixth form, taking a copy of Young Team in and sticking it on the stereo - one of my eager prey stepped up during the beginning of 'Like Herod' and turned it right up only for the stereo to almost explode minutes later. That may still be the best thing I've ever done, sadly. 'I Woke Up and Drank a Bottle of Cheap Kojak' is a well enjoyable old mess in a No-Neck Blues Band (check out their ace last LP if you can), Jazzfinger, wonky old soundz kind of way. Fun and a bit mental. At various points it sounds like Wesley Willis is trying to break into their studio or something..
