8/10 Jack Customer review, 16th December 2016

Beequeen has been part of the ambient-drone scene in Europe for ages, but eventually began to mix a slightly more accessible sound and some vocals into their noise. I hope to hear more similar work from Beequeen. De Waard has plenty of other projects that push the ambient-drone envelope to the outer limits of anything listenable, such as Kapotte Muziek, Freiband and Goem. If anything, this album is more reminiscent of some of the material from Kinkelaar's other project, Brunnen. This is worth a listen, and I bet one listen becomes many spins.
