ATP's latest signing Sleepy Sun have their full length album out on the label. It's available on CD and LP with download. It's basically a big San Francisco psychedelic rock throw back with smatterings of Americana. When I first heard the 10" that preceded 'Embrace' I was reminded of Jefferson Airplane who they've been compared to so at least I know I'm not going mad. The second track 'Lord' bizarrely reminds me of The Verve but don't let that put you off. There's a big classic rock influence in the sound with bits of Deep Purple style riffs. You'll want to be wearing tie dye undies by the end of the album. Some of the more widdly bits may even appeal to fans of Wooden Shjips.
