Perhaps I'm not the best person to review a Peter Doherty record but there you go. I took the job on. Someone has to do it. You need folks to work in the sewers, do the bins, milk pigs, etc cos without those people society would collapse. That and everything would get very smelly and there would be no bacon...

Doesn't he have an annoying voice???? He sounds like a smackhead dying in a gutter. Somehow the man who created some decent tunes with the Libertines has made a kooky non-song which is completely unmemorable. I like the fact it's not even vaguely commercial (I don't know what it is) and that's about as much as I can garner from it.

'The Last of The English Roses' is presumably about Kate Moss but it's time to let go, Pete. She's knobbing that fella from The Kills. I heard he's got a massive schlanger as well.

The last time Pete saw an "English rose", he was snorting it from the backseat of a taxi. Let's hope this is also the last we'll hear of Pete, the obnoxious, tuneless git.

uh you spiteful cunt..it's not about Kate Moss, you berk, and it was written long before The Libertines released a single record...apart from complete factual spasmody your review was unbalanced and tarnished by your personal almost obsessive disdain for myself (a keen reader of your excellent site). Personally i think it's a grower and a belter and the like. Sunny days in Bedworth cemetery.
