9/10 Phil Staff review, 02 January 2009

Infraction have repressed a small amount of the Movements CD by Koda which was one of their earlier releases. It's not one I've heard until now so I thought I'd write a few words on it. From start to end this album is totally beautiful. If you're into ambience and drone music then this is heartily recommended. I'm not sure what the music has been made with but it's utterly gorgeous.... Pulsing warm ambient drones with classical overtones.... Deffo elements of Stars of The Lid in there and I can hear a lot of the ambient stuff Eno did in there as well. It's one of the warmest sounding CD's I've heard in a while. It just invites you in, makes you a huge cup of tea, rolls you a big one and you're just left in this world of warm floaty lovelyness. It'll take you a good while to realise there's no biscuits. Thoroughly splendid.... Check out the hilarious review from The Wire on the item page and see if you can make any sense of it cos it made no fucking sense to me whatsoever.

10/10 Brenda Cacklehorse Customer review,

It's the Wire review what did it officer. That Ken Hollings writes like Mr Logic crossed with Zap Brannigan from Futurama. Words as crispy as over grilled bacon wrenched from a cacophonius mind wank from planet Arse prolapse. Lovely. The music however is quite gorgeous, like your brain being gently stroked by huge bassett hound puppy ears. I'm off for a slice of almond cake right fucking now x
