Got a pleasant enough singer songwriter CD in by Holly Dearden. 'The Optimists Daughter' is her debut album and she's certainly got talent. This isn't really my cup of tea but it's all done well. She takes care of piano and vocals and there is some double bass and violin in there too. The music is quite sparse leaving space for her vocals to do the business. Digipak self released job that you can imagine hearing in some posh winebar. Not that you'd find me in such an establishment. I'm more likely to be falling asleep in my pint at the Skull and Weasel.
