It's always nice getting a box of stuff from Infraction and this week that very thing happened with a brand new CD arriving by Eluder called 'The Most Beautiful Blue'. As you'd expect from Infraction, it's a release of the highest quality. They don't release much but when they do it's always top notch. It doesn't veer away from the tried and tested approach of the label which centres around warm floaty ambience. No big surprises there.... but it is completely lovely sounding. If you're into ambient music then (for me) there is no better label out there doing the floaty biz better than Infraction. Warm sounding droney experimental ambience with hisses and clicks which makes me feel like I'm sat in the middle of a big drone machine in space with 2 crickets and a broken radio for company. I like this. I like it a lot. From the label who brings you stuff by Aidan Baker, Milieu, Kiln, Celer, Colin Potter, Andrew Liles, Beequeen, Adam Pacione etc you wouldn't expect a duff one to be honest. Well good!!
