Casiokids are from Norway. I thought on first glance they were from Wales, the only country where non-English language 7"s casually wander into indie shops jump on the shelves and pluckily sell themselves with not a care in the world. So nice to get a Norweigan language 7" in. It's called 'Gront Lys I Alle Ledd' and is a kinda blissed out motorik indie pop song with some wonderful psychedelic overtones. It's really sweetly produced stuff that should appeal to fans of fans of Dungen & prime SFA. The flip 'Togens Hule' is a spaced out, wibbling prog-bopper of a tune. Slightly cheesy but in a fun rather than naff way with lots of crazy clangers effects and Fraggle Rock ad-libs. True Scando-pop, this could have been the alternative sountrack to the summer. Except it's October and these 'kids are a bit mental, like. Quality. On the Moshi Moshi singles club.
