I started listening to Mia Vigar and their 'I Dare You' track (twinned with 'Seaside' on this 7") on 45rpm as is befitting of a small wee record and it sounded demented. So it put it down to 33rpm and now it sounds like they're playing through treacle, or maybe like they've all only just started playing their instruments so they're going dead slowly so they don't make any fuck ups. Brian's well dee-jay and he reckons 45rpm pitched right down sounds about right.. You can interprit this one for yourself, probably as much fun as you'll have with any other non-interactive 7" out this week. In our interpretation it sounds sort of like 80s rockabilly indie with a pretty ace wonky bassline. Bonus points for the terrifying papier mache model on the cover too! On Hungry Audio.
