7/10 Penrith Steve Customer review, 15th July 2015

Hush Arbors AKA Keith Wood makes what I can only describe as psychedelic folk noise. His self-titled album is his eleventh release. It opens with a wall of distorted guitar before the more tuneful "Follow Closely" comes in with a fab, discordant lead guitar riff. "Rue Hollow" is genuine acoustic folk and shows him to have a voice a bit like a slacker choirboy. "The Light" is probably the album's best song and uses the the album's dynamics of acoustic, distorted electric and psychedelic well. It might be of interest to know that Keith Wood is a member of the Thurston Moore-led band Chelsea Light Moving.
