For the slowcore completists among you, the Numero Group have compiled every dejected Bedhead mumble and guitar gesture into one CD boxset, under the not-so-inventive but apt title '1992-1998'. This is essential for fans of minimal, understated indie rock with guitars that swim in the mud the way Unwound and Slint did.

Bill Callahan
I Drive a Valence

Bill Callahan should write more books. The baritone poet has already released one, 'Letters To Emma Bowlcut' -- a collection of random thoughts, barely interconnected, collected into a novella. In true Callahan fashion, the book is a delight to read, even if the reader has no fucking clue what he's talking about: the sentences just sound nice. Now, he's releasing 'I Drive a Valence', a book compiling lyrics from seventy of his songs alongside over a hundred original self-inked images. He really is a man of many talents.

The Box Set

The ultimate collection for the Blur fan. Featuring all their albums (pre split and reformation of course), just the five and a half hours of unreleased material, three DVDs and even a 7" single of a rare Seymour track. Now cheaper, it will still set you back but look what you get for your brass.

Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band
Sun Zoom Spark: 1970 to 1972

The weird anachronistic blues rock of Captain Beefheart is celebrated in 'Sun Zoom Spark', a monstrous boxset which collects four of his early 70s recordings: 'Like My Decals Off, Baby', 'The Spotlight Kid', 'Clear Spot' and a record of out-takes called all appear. 'Sun Zoom Spark' is a good find for newly initiated Beefheart fans who want to go further into his story, as well as for completlist fans out there.

Daft Punk
Alive 2007

Some electro purity from the club barons Daft Punk. Alive 2007 is their double Grammy winning live experience. Paving the way for so much of the populous EDM of today, they show their live chops and prove their ability to work a crowd. Featuring favorites from Homework and Discovery on this 4LP coloured vinyl/book/slip-mat combo OR double LP vinyl set. Out from Rhino.

Dave Porter
Breaking Bad Original Score Vol. 2

More meth scores from up above high come from musician Dave Porter here: 'Breaking Bad Original Score Vol. 2' continues to survey the whispered interactions, unbearable tension and desert warfare that the show became known for in its later seasons. Porter's score is sparse, spectral and percussive, tinkering in the background and gaining more weight with every step Walter White takes.

Dinosaur Jr

This is a nice box set contains Dinosaur Jr's first four singles plus a bonus one pairing Frampton's "Show Me The Way" with a cover of the Byrds' "Feel A Whole Lot Better". It includes a bunch of unused artwork from the period.  Originally out for Record Store Day, this is a 'warehouse find' apparently, not that labels would ever contemplate re-pressing swiftly sold out RSD items

DJ Shadow
Super Deluxe Box Set

Oh boy. There's a lot to this one. Maybe it's best to just run it down chronologically: you get Endtroducing, of course, a masterwork of sampling and hip-hop plunderphonics. You get a bonus, plus The Private Press and each album after it, a disc of rarities -- because why not go deep with an artist who pulls deep from the archives -- and a live performance from Glasgow. This thing is huge; it will eat you. You'll find something you didn't know about DJ Shadow and you'll love it.

Drew Millward
Drew Millward Poster

Drew Millward is a Leeds-based artist who has done work for the likes of Mogwai, Sonic Youth, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre - as well as for the awesome Brudenell Social Club (possibly the best music venue in the UK). We're huge fans of his imaginative, detailed, and often borderline-terrifying drawings here at Norman Records and we're somewhat in awe of the poster he's created for us.   Also available as an A6 size postcard with accompanying gift voucher.

Erased Tapes Collection
Embossed Micro Fibre Cleaning Cloth

Erased Tapes are a fine label, we all agree. We also all agree that vinyl sounds better and lasts longer when it's kept clean. Ergo, this record cleaning cloth embossed with the Erased Tapes logo can only be a good thing. Take better care of your vinyl collection! 16.9 x 16.9 cm record cleaning cloth. Cleans all vinyl records and removes dust and grease.

Fela Kuti
Vinyl Boxset 3 Curated by Brian Eno

I think we can all agree it would have been pretty cool if Brian Eno had done one of his iconic collaborative records with Fela Kuti. Unfortunately, that never happened, but 'Vinyl Boxset 3', curated by the ambient artist and pop producer himself, does allow them to collaborate in a small way: Eno selects seven Fela Kuti records to go into one huge boxset. Contained among the walls of this boxset are 'London Scene', 'Shakara', 'Afrodisiac', 'Gentlemen', 'Zombie', 'Upside Down' and 'I.T.T.'. It's like you're listening to Brian Eno listen to amazing Afrobeat.

Buddha Machine 5

FM3 return with the fifth variation of their popular Buddha Machine gizmos. This one contains nine loops taken from their first full-length in ten years. Experiment with hiding these around your flat. There’s a Cello in the underwear draw! Who left a Steinway behind the sofa? This edition comes in black or white and is luxuriously finished in several layers of silicon coating. Feels good in the hand, apparently.

Henry Mancini
The Pink Panther - Music from the Film Score

A soundtrack reissue from the 1963 film starring Peter Sellers, The Pink Panther. Given a Hall of Fame award in 2001, this soundtrack from Henry Mancini is a stellar piece. The Pink Panther theme is still as embedded in our collective memories as the riff from Seven Nation Army and the fact that Nick Clegg lost any soul he may have had when he “came to power”. A pink vinyl pressing.

Ian Curtis / Jon Savage
So This is Permanence

'So This is Permanence' is an incredibly personal insight into post-punk’s most enigmatic pioneer. This collection of intimate writings is filled with lyrics and previously unseen, unpublished replicas of pages from Ian Curtis’ notebooks. For the most ardent of fans, there's also a limited edition of just 200 copies, all of which are signed by all of the surviving members of Joy Division, plus Jon Savage, editor of the collection, and Deborah Curtis who contributes a foreword to the book.

Iggy Pop
Gimme Some Skin

Nice special limited edition 7” box set from the king of modern punk rock, Mr Iggy of Pop! Includes 7 individual 45s featuring new and classic recordings both with and without The Stooges - all packaged with a full-color booklet, detailed liner notes, a custom 7” vinyl adaptor, and collectible patch!

John Drumbo French
Beefheart: Through The Eyes Of Magic

This surely must be the definitive book on renowned rock-skronk master/monster Captain Beefheart. Written not by an academic or a journalist, but by Beefheart’s long-time sideman John ‘Drumbo’ French, this is a very personal and in-depth account of what we might fairly describe as an interesting life. Also, the book is almost 900 pages long!

John Lydon
Anger Is An Energy: My Life Uncensored

Lead singer of the Sex Pistols and general volatile substance, John Lydon has a lot to say about his musical life and career. His new book -- rather aptly called 'Anger Is Energy: My Life Uncensored' -- takes stock of all the twists and turns in his time innovating punk rock and doing a lot of very frowned upon shit. Recommended if you like anarchy, I'm sure.

Joy Division
Love Will Tear Us Apart

Joy Division's most revered tune and a hallmark of New Wave, "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is now for some reason the banner child for this collection of the band's rarities, studio out-takes and B-sides. This vinyl release is a celebration of what the post-punkers were known best for as well as what no one's quite discovered yet.

Joy Division
+/- (Plus/Minus)

From the Manchester kings of post-punk who were sadly taken away from us much too soon comes +/- (Plus/Minus) by Joy Division. Featuring the obvious hits of Transmission and Love Will Tear Us Apart as well as alternative versions and other less well known songs. If you’ve never really listened to Joy Division, this is a great gateway. CD Boxset.

King Tubby
The Roots Of Dub

Classic album from the dub master - originally issued way back in 1975 on Total Sounds outta Jamaica. It's impossible to overstate the importance Tubby's vision of dub reggae would have on contemporary bass music; from jungle to grime, dubstep and beyond. These cuts are undisputable hard evidence. A smokers delight.

Lord Tarquin
Memoirs Of A Shoegazing Gentleman

Sonic Cathedral are venturing into publishing books for the first ever time with 'Memoirs of A Shoegazing Gentlemen', the work of Piss-Taker-In-Chief Lord Tarquin (also known as David Quantick). The content of this book of satire and maybe potentially some shoegaze originally found its home in a frequent column for NME.

Neil Young
A Letter Home

On 'A Letter Home', Young retreats into his folk traditions after a couple of years incorporating drone, psychedelia and noise into his records and live sets. This record was recorded at Jack White's Third Man studio, in the kind of pay-per-use recording booth you would've found way back in the day. Young stepped in and recorded these covers of folk standards, only using his guitar and the occasional piano accompaniment from White. Among the covers are Tim Hardin's "Reason to Believe", Bob Dylan's "Girl from the North Country" and the good old "On the Road Again". 'A Letter Home' is interspersed with Young reading out a letter he's written to his late mother. Bless you, Neil.

Featuring memorable tracks like "Debaser", "Here Comes Your Man" and "Monkey Gone To Heaven", this reissue is a reminder of just how important Doolittle was.

Robert Wyatt
Different Every Time

He's got a huge beard and he's releasing a new record: that is literally all you can ask from Robert Wyatt. 'Different Every Time' compile two elements of Wyatt's work. One side is for the wee perplexed, introducing the songwriter to a new, clueless generation, while the second collects together his best feature work in a career filled to the brim with successful collaborations -- from Bjork to John Cage to uh, Hot Chip? Go in, Robert.

Songs: Ohia
Magnolia Electric Co. (10 Year Anniversary Edition)

Magnolia Electric Co was the final album Jason Molina released under the name Songs: Ohia. Whilst touring the album, he decided to change the name of the band to Magnolia Electric Co (who never released an album called Songs: Ohia). You can hear something had changed - this Steve Albini-produced record has a harder edge than previous releases. Sadly, Molina died in March 2013 of alcohol-related organ failure. Double vinyl album, 10 year anniversary edition.

Sun Ra
The Eternal Myth Revealed

Deep breath everyone… A full fourteen CDs of Sun Ra, with a book, in a box. The Eternal Myth Revealed Volume One is full to the gills with material that is either deeply rare, or fully unreleased. The House Of Love
The House Of Love Deluxe

Helping indie rock find its feet as a toddler back in the 1980s, The House Of Love created a rich debut that caught a lot of cult favour but has since gone missing from alt-rock consciousness. This deluxe package offers all of their singles for Creation and a lot of unreleased demos, demonstrating the long and prosperous activities of a band who were all too briefly in our hearts.

Tobias Petersson

Amon Düül II were at the forefront of the movement, and this book from Tobias Peterson contains everything you need to know about the band and the sound that could only have been birthed in a German still divided by Cold War tension and misery. Hardcover book, 160 pages.

US Maple
Long Hair In Three Stages

Long Hair In Three Stages was the debut album of '90s noisy guitar heroes US Maple. It was recorded with Jim O’Rourke in 1995, and reappears here in two vinyl formats on Skingraft. Alongside the regular vinyl version, is a crazy metal-sleeved collectors version, of which no two are alike. A treat for the eyes and hands, with a bonus treat for the ears, in the form of an extra track.

Anthology Of American Folk Music Volume Four: Rhythmic Changes

The Anthology of American folk music trilogy is a compilation album, put together by artist and eccentric Harry Smith in 1952. Smith used records from his own collection of folk, blues, gospel and country music, and the album has been credited with helping to kick off the American folk revival in the '60s. Volume 4 came along later, unfinished by Smith at the time. A real treasure trove of early American music. Vinyl double LP.

7 and 7 is

This innovative and exciting recording is available as a box set of 7 x 7" singles (which explains the name) and includes songs by 13th Floor Elevators and The Byrds. Groovy!

Parchman Farm: Photographs and Field Recordings: 1947–1959

William Onyeabor
Vinyl Boxset I

Nigerian funk sensation and synth party innovator William Onyeabor was recently discovered and celebrated with 'Who Is William Onyeabor', released on David Byrne's Luaka Bop label. The shiny, flourescent '9 CD Boxset' brings together a whole five records he released off his own back from the late 70s on through to the mid 80s, and here Luaka Bop has decided to give the boxset a vinyl treatment, the second in a series of LP collections for the elusive Onyeabor. The vinyl release is split into two parts, 'I' obviously being the first.

Yo La Tengo
