At The Drive-In
Diamante EP

Three brand new tracks from the re-united and still impressively frizzy-haired At the Drive In. The lads are back on full power following their return with 2017's in•ter a•li•a. Very limited edition pressing which comes on coke bottle and bone splatter and just in time for Black Friday.

Bernie Worrell
All The Woo In The World

Repress of debut solo album from Parliament/Funkadelic’s keyboardist, Bernie Worrell.  Though his own work isn’t as well known as his work with P-Funk’s largest institution, it’s no less dense, frenetic, and outright thrilling. This is very, very good, On limited orange vinyl.

Black Lips
This Sick Beat

Garage rock’s naughtiest boys have got together an all-star cast for this limited edition 10”. In just four tracks they feature Fat White Family’s  Saul Adamczewski, King Khan & The Shrines' own AA Khan, and Sean Lennon after a tip off by his mum who worked with The Black Lips on their last album.

Fleet Foxes
The Electric Lady Session

Troubled, episodic folk rockers Fleet Foxes issued their complex 'Crack Up' album last June but only days before the band entered New York's historic, Electric Lady Studios to record a few tracks for a WFUV session. Here it is in its unedited glory to present something at least semi-interesting for Black Friday.

Neil Young
Harvest Moon

Ah Harvest Moon. Like Bat out Hell 2, it's a key example of how an artist going back to an original blueprint can reap dividends. On Harvest Moon Neil Young captured the vibe of his original Harvest album, with a series of beautifully evocative acoustic songs including utterly essential closer Natural Beauty.

Richard Hell & The Voidoids
Blank Generation

Give ‘em Hell, Richard! Like it’s spiritual ancestor The Velvet Underground’s The Velvet Underground & Nico, Blank Generation is one of those LPs whose influence in the world of popular culture cannot be overstated. Along with backing group The Voidoids, the former Television man laid down a marker for all other punk bands when he dropped his Blank Generation in 1977. Without this you’d have had no Sex Pistols and no Clash. Hell & The Voidoid's debut is reissued by Rhino.

Son Volt

Repress of Son Volt’s now two decade old sophomore album, Straightaways. Smooth and heartfelt alternative country rock with plenty of guitar twang built around ex-Uncle Tulepo singer/songwriter Jay Farrar’s warm, emotive voice. Pressed on 180g vinyl. Just make sure you don’t mention Wilco.

The Free Design
Kites Are Fun

Yup. They definitely are. The Free Design certainly knew what they were talking about in terms of kites but also they made some pretty swish bubblegum psychedelic pop back in the day. This is their debut album full of complex harmonies and jazzy progressions and has been re-issued as part of Black Friday.

The Blackout

Oh no! U2 have a new album due. We had no idea. Ensure your iTunes folders are clamped shut then. This is a Black Friday unleashing of the first track from this upcoming opus and comes out on Third Man no less. Palms greased on either side we'd imagine. To get you even more excited it comes with a remix from their long term collaborator and producer Jacknife Lee.

Willie Nelson

First vinyl release (and on limited gold vinyl to boot) for Willie Nelson's 1996 album, Spirit. The concept album follows the journey of a broken-hearted man as he finds himself again. Musically the album is sparser and more dour than much of Nelson’s discography, in keeping with its decidedly moody subject matter.

Y Kant Tori Read (Tori Amos)
Y Kant Tori Read

When she became a twiddly topsy turvy Kate Bush-a like, Tori Amos disowned this early record which her and her then band made with a rather more synth pop feel. Since then she's made enough peace with her past to let it be re-issued. Although it sounds nothing like her later work, this will be of interest to seasoned Amos watchers.
