Dead Arm
Simply Dead

The noise-punk band from London, featuring members of USA Nails, Los Bitchos and Death Pedals, return with another studio album Simply Dead. Written two years ago and recorded live in under a single weekend in 2018, Dead Arms deliver ten tracks of laser-focussed garage punk that address the West's political state.

Acid Cannibals
Horny For Tomorrow

It’s described in the press release as “Christmas stocking filler for sure”, but don’t worry about finding any other kind of filler here. Scottish punk rockers Acid Cannibals, who despite their rather brutal name are all about having a positive mental attitude, follow their debut single with EP Horny for Tomorrow. Punk rock with a happy twist and a lot of good riffs.

Remote Viewing
Blood Loss

Remote Viewing release their new LP via Hominid Sounds (Cattle, Casual Nun). There’s plenty of muscle gone into this one - RV contain members of Palehorse, Million Dead, Record Buying Public and a bunch of other heavy groups - and Blood Loss is a suitably hard-bitten experience. Blood-curdling shrieks, drums that sound like they’re about to burst the monitors apart, ten-tonne riffs on the cusp of stoner and doom. It’s a wild ride.

Bruxa Maria / Casual Nun
Split

The criminally underrated Hominid Sounds (Cattle, Sly & The Family Drone) bring forth this collaborative release from hardcore brutalists Bruxa Maria and stoner-metal group Casual Nun. Bruxa Maria handle the first three, with ‘It’s All In The DNA’ a particularly brutal assault. Casual Nun handle the second half and play things looser and more languidly - but no less impressively - than their Bruxa brethren. Only 250 copies.

Death Pedals
Death Pedals

Heroic and long standing figures in London DIY punk and alternative rock, Death Pedals need no introduction to anyone who grew up getting their kicks at The Windmill or The Constitution. Sadly though, this release comes alongside the group's demise, ending their noise rock career with a final document of chaos. Farewell.

Casual Nun
Super Fancy Skeleton

Heavy music from Casual Nun, featuring heavy musicians from heavy music heavyweights Dethscalator, Kooba Tercu and Throne. Super Fancy Skeleton is a fierce flare of psychedelia for dropping out of regular existence to, with some crucial doses of noise in there too. Four big tracks, pressed to vinyl by Hominid Sounds.
