Spacebomb House Band
Known About Town: Library Music Compendium One

Spacebomb House Band feature, most famously, Matthew E. White. Trey Pollard, Pinson Chanselle, and Cameron Ralston make up the four piece. Known About Town: Library Music Compendium One maybe this four-piece’s debut album but their fingerprints are all over other releases. Natalie Prass, Foxygen, Helado Negro, Slow Club and Nadia Reid have all benefited from their talents as musicians arrangers and producers.

Bird Songs of a Killjoy

As you know, here at Norman Records™ we take all sorts. Weird, wacky, ‘wtf?’ - we’ll give it all a go. However, sometimes we need a breather from the intense/abrasive/nasty stuff. At times like that we're looking for something well-written, gently-strummed and beautifully-sung. That’s where LPs like Bedouine’s Bird Songs Of A Killjoy come in. On this lovely record the Syria-born, LA-based singer-songwriter turns in a set of wistful acoustic ditties that recall Joan Baez and Nick Drake.

Jackie Cohen

Currently on tour in the States with Weyes Blood and with this debut album already available digitally, Zagg arrives on vinyl and CD. Produced with her husband Jonathan Rado (of Foxygen), it sees L.A.-based songwriter Jackie Cohen follow up her duology of acclaimed Tacoma Night Terror EPs with more of her compelling inner monologues.

Natalie Prass
Natalie Prass

Between all the techno remixes and experimental punk bands from big city suburbs, Nathalie Prass is a refreshing singer-songwriter who knows how to encapture us with her pretty voice. We love being able to offer you something as simple, catchy and beautiful as her self-titled debut. Be careful not to go head over heels for her… We saw her first!
