Anthroprophh
SRR2.5 Special Love Songs for Hardworking People in Alarm Clock Britain

Further proof that people will never stop parodying that Throbbing Gristle sleeve comes from the band of former the Heads guitarist Paul Allen. These are five tracks of heavy jams and throbbing electronics all unreleased except one and that only came out in a limited edition of 50 so you probably won't have it.

Carlton Melton / Kandodo 3
Split

Get spacey with the latest release from Carlton Melton, those well-regarded purveyors of stretched-out psych-rock jams. They take three tracks of this 12” split: the other side belongs to kandodo 3, a spin-off from The Heads, taking an even more spaced approach to music than the mother-band do. On Creepy Crawl.

OGOD (Over-Gain Optimal Death)
More Hearing

Some abbreviations are so obscure they need their own parenthesized definition in the same sentence to be understandable, which to me has always seemed a bit excessive. OGOD (Over-Gain Optimal Death) is one of those, but then again they also forewent the demands of grammar in addition to those of concise writing. More Hearing brings more of the noisy hardcore that we’ve come to expect from these prolific Californians. Lots of mids and highs on this one. All in all NB (not bad).

Warp Transmission
Process Ultra

The second release from Finland’s premier fuzzed out pych troop Warp Transmission, this time they went all out, stepping away from rehearsal recordings and bring a fully produced behemoth in the form of Process Ultra. Mastered by a master - John McBain (Monster Magnet, Hater, Queens Of the Stone Age) these walls of amp crushing fuzz are closing in, and you’re gonna love it.

Warp Transmission
Tamam Shud

Warp Transmission are a Finnish group who are deadly serious about fiercely-blasted dark psychedelia. Taman Shud, which was first released as a cassette, is so full of overdrive, effects and distortion that the textures start to mutate into something alien. Remastered for CD and vinyl and released by Creepy Crawl. Pow!

Possessor
Stay Dead

So it turns out that Stay Dead, an EP by the band Possessor, is metal! Who’d have thought eh? Following up from last year’s debut, these four tracks provide a fresh dose of the London group’s chugging doomy thrashing. Pressed to clear vinyl in a limited edition of 500 copies, this is released by Creepy Crawl.
