Dutch-Iranian singer Sevda Alizadeh reveals her anticipated second full-length Sevdaliza album Shabrang, released later this year. It follows the hard touring behind her 2017 debut ISON, a record which became a slow-burning hit, and blends together influences from electronica, indie, hip-hop and alternative R&B.

Lamb released 5 (suitably enough, their fifth album) in 2011, the first recorded results of their reformation after a half-decade away. People seemed to like it, so it is now reissued in deluxe style by Music On Vinyl, who have pressed up 1000 copies to 180g silver vinyl. This version also includes two bonus tracks, one featuring Damien Rice.

Backspace Unwind

Electronic duo Andy Barlow and Lou Rhodes make up the hushed electronica outfit Lamb, and 'Backspace Unwind' offers ten new tunes based around the same thrumming beats, delicate arrangements and whispered vocals. This time, though, they also have string arrangements conducted by Tom Trapp to work with, giving their sound a lush, organic accompaniment.
