The Delaware Road

The Delaware Road is a soundtrack to a film loosely based on the careers and lives of electronic musicians Delia Derbyshire and John Baker. It was devised by Alan Grubby and explores the pairs' obsession with sound, sex and the occult. The 19 track album features some of the leading lights of British electronica, jazz, folk, prog, world and spoken world music such as The Dandelion Set, Dolly Dolly, Loose Capacitor, Rodin Lee and Tongues of Fire. Recommended for those who like electronica, Jazz from the dark side of the moon, and gothic folk grooves.
