Anna Homler & Alessio Capovilla
Vasi Comunicanti

Anna Homler is an avant-garde artist and performer from Los Angeles. Alessio Capovilla is an Italian composer with a penchant for sound modelling who has released records under the name XIII. He is also the co-founder of the Turin-based label Gang of Ducks. Vasi Comunicanti is a collaboration between the two which sees them conjuring up dreamlike sounds.

Camarades Breton
Camarades Breton

Italian producer and DJ Camarades Breton AKA Stefano Murgia has released his self-titled album on cassette so it can be listened to continuously. It was recorded at home using basic equipment. It is a patchwork of ambient techno, hardcore, psychedelic electronic sounds and grime that, at times, is reminiscent of Seekersinternational and Filter Dread.

N.M.O.
Nuova Musica Ostinata

A quacking new release (sorry) on Gang of Ducks by N.M.O. or Nuova Musica Ostinata. They've already released on the likes of Diagonal and The Death Of Rave and here head off in several new directions which incorporate dancehall, marching music and experimental collage. A kind of arty thing which works just as well in dark underground clubs. Let's hope it gets top bill-ing.

Regno Maggiore
Astroveliero

Regno Maggiore kicks off his recorded career with Astroveliero, a six track EP that layers up lots of very enjoyable sounds. Field recordings, unidentifiable samples, percussion and instruments: all are brought together and placed in fine balance with one another for compelling and original tracks. 12” EP.

XIII
Eocity

Sound artist XIII returns to Gang of Ducks (Shit & Shine, My Panda Shall Fly) for this eerie EP. Eocity was made predominantly with a Yamaha ex5r, a piece of hardware which intended to mimic the vibrations and timbral quirks of the acoustic instruments it was aping. It didn’t succeed, but XIII taps into the simultaneously chilly and warm sound of the synth across these six tracks. The resulting record lands somewhere between Ziur and Visible Cloaks. The sleeve comes 'hand-burnt', which is cool.

Dave Saved
Power and Silence: Deindustrialization

Release of 250 12" hand numbered black label records. Packed in vacuum bags with a poster. After the 'Shape Worship' remix, the collaboration with Dave Saved continues with this EP. Aisha Devi also joins the project with a remix.
