Scalameriya
Kepslok

Perc welcomes Scalameriya back to his Perc Trax label for a second chance to pulverise listeners, and Scalameriya jumps at the opportunity. Kepslok’s three tracks all kick very hard indeed, with lots of metallic and glitch sounds playing out over the pummelling broken rhythms. Very satisfying indeed. Clear vinyl 12” on Perc Trax.

Perc & Truss
Leather & Lace

This is the first recorded collaboration we’ve heard in some time from the pairing of Perc and Truss, 2 producers who have long been dedicated to the harder forms of techno. The 3 tracks of Leather & Lace are melodic, but they also seethe with banging acid rhythms and noisy sonic flares. Very fine stuff, pressed to clear vinyl. On Perc Trax Limited.

Scalameriya & VSK
Haka

The Perc Trax label with more of what they do best; harsh, experimental electronics. Scalameriya & VSK’s Haka, on clear vinyl 12”, is a distorted selection of tough techno built from industrial percussion and rough drones. These brutal tracks are also funky enough to do well on the dancefloor and have been central to Perc’s own DJ sets for a while now.

Drax
The 3rd Decade

Perc Trax present three new tracks from techno junkie, Drax. The 3rd Decade sees the release of Drax’s first new material since 2002. The tracks are heavy, driving techno cuts which can’t help but remind me of Trainspotting’s heavy soundtrack. The three tracks on this 12” would be a fine soundtrack to the heaviest of ‘90s fuelled raves and they act as the pulsating highlight to any DJ’s techno playlist. Awesome stuff.

Drax
Phosphene (Perc & Truss, AnD, The Exaltics Remixes)

Techno aggressions return in full force on the Perc Trax imprint, with a tune the eponymous bossman has fallen irrefutably in love with recently. 'Phosphene' can be traced back to two decades ago, when Thomas Heckmann threw it on his 'Drax Three' EP, and now it gets its day once more: this honourary 12" in its name offers three hard-wired and caffeinated remixes that show how far techno has come, and what it's learned on the way.

Perc & Truss
Two Hundred

Total paranoia from Perc & Truss. Two Hundred is an example of the dark depths of the mind. The A side begins with a loop of what sounds like a green grocer over some sketchy monolithic techno madness. The second track is pure industrial vibrations with some alien electronics that lets you down just before it batters you again and again. On the B side "Forever Your Girl" sounds like a tongue in cheek ode to the current EDM crisis. "Van Der Valk" rounds it off in a less deranged fashion. 4 tracks of raw acid on 12" vinyl from Perc Trax Limited.
