Pure Amethyst

The latest drop from Kyle Hall’s Wild Oats (Byron The Aquarius, KMFH) is the debut release from Detroit prodigy Q’D. Pure Amethyst - containing, surprise surprise, tracks entitled ‘Pure’ and ‘Amethyst’ - is space-gazing techno in the best Motor City tradition. The A-side grows from 808s into a wiggly arpeggiated groove that would do Theo Parrish proud, while ‘Amethyst’ features droning jazz chords set against tuffer drum work.

Released on the Wild Oats label, London artist K15 returns to the dance floor with a new debut 5-track EP ‘Insecuritues’. Having been part of London’s music scene for a while, he remains a relatively unsung hero and a master of distinctively combining genres. ‘Insecurities’ features sampled dancefloor classics, alongside re-works and original music.

Kyle Hall
From Joy

From Joy is the second full-length album from Kyle Hall: and very full in length it is too, stretching over 6 sides of vinyl. All the tracks predate 2010, so Hall has obviously been meditating on their weights and merits enough to know that these are all stone-cold killers. This triple LP release is out on Hall’s own Wild Oats label.

Da Sampla
West Side Sessions

Disco samples and drum machines; these are rawest-of-the-raw, analogue house jams from Da Sampla, one of Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir’s pseudonyms. As well as collaborating on some of the sessions, Detroit techno veteran Kyle Hall’s record label have outdone themselves with this package, a 12” and 7” set on two colour vinyl, signed, hand stamped and limited to 800 worldwide.

KMFH (Kyle Hall)

Massively anticipated repress of this modern classic of raw house music from Detroit producer KMFH, also known as Kyle Hall. There's an extra special treat here too in the shape of a an impossible to find 7", rerun here for the first time outside of Detroit. Phat bass-Heavy euphoric grooves commited to vinyl, just like Nature intended!
