Trummor & Orgel
Indivisibility

The press release describes this one as sounding like Stereolab covering sixties lounge pop and, well, that about nails it, really. Absolutely delicious drum ‘n’ organ combos from appropriately named Uppsala, Sweden duo Trummor & Orgel. The pair have sought to make indivisible the lines - such as they can be perceived on record - between human and machine, synthetic and organic and other such binaries.

INCA Music Project
Prosiect Cerddorol INCA Music Project

INCA Music Project is a counter-culture library orchestra that uses the kind of forgotten about psychedelic gems you find in charity shops as its musical foundation. They began playing at the art cinema in their hometown of Aberystwyth before expanding their horizons and sound to become known as bunch of musical eccentrics. Prosiect Cerddorol INCA Music Project is pretty much unlike anything else with fuzzed-out weirdness provided by homemade electronic instruments. The project centres around Rhys Spikes who was formerly a member of the band Radio Luxembourg.

Psyence
Phoenix

The new single from Stoke on Trent band Psyence is an unhinged, dark, metal-inspired acid trip of a record. It starts off mellow enough, then descends (ascends?) into excellent multicoloured super-noisy mayhem. Groovy yet face melting; Stone Henge meets Donington. Get it now on limited red coloured vinyl, out on Salvation Records.
