Mecanica Popular
¿Qué Sucede Con El Tiempo?

Mecanica Popular are a post-punk group founded in 1978 in Madrid, Spain. ¿Qué Sucede Con El Tiempo? is a deep, dark slice of electronica made only from tape loops and through some bizarre equipment such as an Arp Odyssey, Eventide H910 Harmonizer and even a Polaroid camera. The result is an off kilter album of driving electronica, just perfect for DJs. Limited edition of 500 copies.

David Tyack was part of the Twisted Nerve gang that featured Andy Votel, Badly Drawn Boy and Jane Weaver, he played drums in Misty Dixon with Jane Weaver. He tragically died in 2002, around the time that he had been working under the name Luxury Apartments. The results of his purposeful experiments and improvisation led to what we have here - a mix of mechanical folk and darkly ambient music.

Alessandro Alessandroni

With a name like that, you really can’t go wrong. Sprung from the 70s pit of beautiful Italian music, Alessandro Alessandroni has been renowned for his experimental prowess with synthesizers. Industrial is a compilation of previously unreleased material, like uncovering an old family trunk filled with EMS Synthi VCS3 modular systems all hooked up.
