Not only did it break our website layout, TCF's new 12" vinyl will also break your mind while you try to break the code. Don't miss this opportunity to purchase your very own Norwegian puzzle of art. The record is not, as they say, a record. It is the key to the puzzle that is its ridiculous title.

HEX
HEX

HEX is a project of two producers / artists from London, Charlie Noon and Tom Field. This self-titled debut release finds them frantically cutting and combining genres of electronic music into a fierce whole. A firm core of low bass and propulsive beats will typically be surrounded by digital detritus, extra beat flurries and half-heard samples. Bold stuff on Liberation Technologies.

Lukid
Crawlers

An innovative second release from London whizzkid Lukid who presents with some lo-fi fuzzy electronics with scattershot scratchy synths descending over muted grainy beats. The effect remains danceable, a thumping two step bass drum keeps your feet moving no matter how odd ball the structures.  'La Cucaracha' is eerie ethnicy sounding breathy samples, he veers all over the place stylistically but always with a texture that leads you to think the whole thing has been rolled on and off tape. Closer 'Born in Bosnia' is a murky highlight.
