Il Tempio Delle Clessidre
Joined on their second album by vocalist Francesco Ciapica, Il Tempio Delle Clessidre is back with another orchestral piece of progressive metal. Alienatura will surely further the band’s reputation in the catchy-riffs-with-Italian-lyrics department, and please fans of songs that are more compositions than tunes.
Pioneer of early electronica Doris Norton plays progressive, avant garde music using classic synths including the Roland System 700, and the Minimoog. Although she was sponsored by Apple computer and the Roland Corporation, she was better known for her experimental work with electro computerized music. Originally recorded in 1981 ‘Parapsycho’ is a dark masterpiece of early electro in it's infancy.
Best known for his soundtrack work on the films of Italian horror/gore/zombie film director Dario Argento, Claudio Simonetti (composer and keyboardist of prog rock wizards Goblin) created the Daemonia project with the help of Roman metal scenesters Giuseppe Previtali, Federico Amorosi and Titta Tani.
This is Italian prog rock masters Three Monks' second concept album. ‘The Legend of the Holy Circle’ is a grandiose composition centered on the powerful pipe organ playing of Paolo Lazzeri, inspired by baroque composers ancient European cathedrals, underpinned by a colossally progressive rhythm section.
