As you might well guess GNOD (R+D) is an offshoot of the mighty Gnod, the ever mutating Salford-based collective. At the helms here are co-founders Paddy Shine and Chris Haslam, and where recent GNOD material has been notable for its shift towards grinding noise riffs, this see’s the pair in full on ritualistic electronic murk mode, all dour loops and submerged incantations.

Reissue of Sensations Fix’s 1977 full length Vision’s Fugitives. While a mainstay in Italian prog rock, they also took a unique angle, being influenced more by the Cosmic Couriers label and German Krautrock bands such as Neu! and Can. Originally released on a tiny american label All Ears to the american market it didn’t fair well, but now sound Of Cobra have unearthed it.
