Something Like A War

After a period of almost four years since their last studio album, during which time they’ve DJ’d and toured extensively and collaborated with the likes of Solange and Blood Orange, Kindness - a.k.a. Musician Adam Bainbridge - produce a double-LP effort Something Like a War. With a full-band backing for the upcoming 2019 tour, this ought to be Bainbridge’s masterpiece!

World You Need A Change Of Mind

The press release describes this re-issue as long awaited but also notes that the original album was released in 2012. That's just three years ago - not that long. Anyway it showcases ol' longhair before he disappeared completely up his own arse. He's at his best here with his brand of smooth updates on all those '70's and '80's soul smoochers you love so much. Slinky.

Who Do You Love? Feat. Robyn

Cheerful and upbeat vocals dance over a phat 80s beat on Who Do You Love? Robyn’s singing is nicely supported by Kindness’ thick organs and strings, which provide an overall religious experience. EP includes remixes by the three Js (Jam City, Joakim and Jereymy Sylvester), ranging from late-nite house to Jam City’s spacey dub.

Kindness is indie disco/R&B-influenced dude Adam Bainbridge. 'Otherness' is his second record and the follow-up to 'World, You Need a Change of Mind'. It's heavy on the funk and even heavier on the collaborations -- the record includes guest spots from Kelela, Robyn and Blood Orange frontman Dev Hynes. Get ready for sad, smooth vibes.    Tracks: World Restart (feat. Kelela & Ade) This Is Not About Us I'll Be Back Who Do You Love? (feat. Robyn) 8Th Wonder (feat. M.anifest) With You (feat. Kelela) Geneva For The Young Why Don't You Love Me (feat Devonté Hynes & Tawiah) It'll Be Ok
