Richard Fearless
Atlas Of Insanity

Death In Vegas member Richard Fearless gets in amongst it once again on new two-tracker Atlas Of Insanity. The EP’s title-track and A-side is a slamming big-room techno tool that sounds like an old Giorgio Moroder tune in the process of Hulking out. Flip Atlas Of Insanity over and you’ll find ‘New Perspective’, a more cautious and paranoid cut with hints of Ostgut Ton to it.

PSSU
PSSU

You could have put money on this happening soon as Daniel Avery and Richard Fearless started working out of adjacent units in Leamouth studio. PSSU’s eponymous debut release finds Avery and Fearless combining their powers for the forces of good. Good techno, that is. While ‘307309’ is a psychedelic electro escapade, ‘Fabricated From Steel’ is droney and doomy.

Richard Fearless
Overview Effect Remixes

Like a snake swallowing its own tail, the Drone label’s fifth release, by Richard Fearless, is now being remixed to form the sixth release. Luke Hess steps up on the first side, with finely acid-tweaked version of Overview Effect. On the flip, DJ Richard takes ‘Metal Dub’ into electro-dub territory. Crucial fresh takes from both producers.

Death In Vegas
Honey

Death In Vegas continue their collaborations with Sasha Grey with the sleek dark electro pop of Honey, which is sure to delight fans of the group. Honey is backed with Richard Fearless’s dub version of ‘Witchdance’, wherein the vocals of Austra singer Katie Stelmanis are yet more abstracted than they were before, to intoxicating effect, 12” from the Drone label.

Richard Fearless
Night Blind

Richard Fearless, of Death In Vegas, joins the Drone label’s white label series with this 12”. One track per side, exploring ambientish and acidish vibes respectively. Both cuts were recorded in Metal Box container studio. Night Blind comes in a limited, numbered edition of 300 stamped 12”s, so probably don’t wait around too long.

Richard Fearless
Gamma Ray

Death in Vegas head honcho Richard Fearless now making trippy, minimal analogue techno. This is the highly anticipated follow-up to Higher Electronic State and is a particularly enticing twelve inch event considering the inclusion of a Legowelt remix. Danny Wolfers name on anything more than triples the inclination to buy a record. Next - Liam Howlett unleashes an Italo disco classic.

Death in Vegas
Consequences Of Love (Chris & Cosey Remix)

Death In Vegas have secured the original dark synth-poppers themselves for a remix of their Consequences Of Love: Chris & Cosey! On top of the fact that the original track was developed with Sasha Grey, that makes for one sexy-sleek set. This 12” contains both original and remixed versions. Out on the Drone label.

Death in Vegas
Transmission

Death In Vegas return with their first album in 5 years, and it’s a big one: Transmission’s vinyl edition fills 3 records. Here, main Vegas man Richard Fearless enlists the vocal assistance of artist / actress Sasha Grey, giving a human presence to the detached drones and pounding techno beats. Released by the Drone label.
