Taking their cues from post punk and DIY punk of the early ‘80s, UK three-piece Girls In Synthesis make a tremendous din. On Arterial Movements EP, it comes in the form of thumping drums, propulsive bass, frenzied vocals and shards of electric guitars. All of this is propped up against a wall of electronic noise.
Room 101’s Jason Williamson hates bands. And by the sound of Vox Humana he hates a bunch of other things as well. Packing all his aggression into the One Man Band results in a 7” jammed to the last groove with energy and punk disdain of anything remotely resembling authority or organized coherence.
