MAAT
The Next

'The Next' is a compilation of works by MAAT - German artist Dörte Marth AKA Xyramat who has been active since the early '80s creating her visionary experimental/electronic music. Spencer Clark has been hugely inspired ber her work, particularly for his creations as Fourth World Magazine and Typhonian Highlife. He's curated a fine selection of tracks as an overview of her largely under the radar output and is presenting them on his Pacific City Sound Visions imprint. MAAT creates a wondrous musical world using a combination of drum machines, percussion and classical influences and shares a sense of mystery and awe with the work of the legendary Limpe Fuchs.

Tradewinds
Tradewind - The Wavesailing Film

In 1984, Jack Cccoy made a documentary about windsurfing, named Tradewind (or alternatively Homoswavesailors), which came with a very cool soundtrack by Chris Eggleton, under the name of Tradewinds. His music mixes spacey ambient synth drifts with gnarly super-80’s pop weirdness and windsurfing sound effects, making for a curious and thrilling audio ride. Now released on vinyl for the first time!

Fourth World Magazine Vol. II
Pinhead In Fantasia

Ltd 12” LP with 12-page booklet. Leftfield doesn’t begin to describe this Release. Covering several media forms all centre around the theme of Pinhead in Fantasia (Cenobites dancing with wooden mops?), consisting of contributions from Spencer Clark, David Keenan, and filmmaker AR Faust. In their own words, this record was “Recorded in an Open Air theater and in a golden metal box simultaneously.” And confusion is just the beginning when it comes to Spencer Clark’s music. Derailed, yet fascinating.

Tarzana
Alien Wildlife Estate

Tarzana is a fresh and unanticipated collaboration between Finland’s-finest Jan Anderzen and former Skaters dude Spencer Clark. Alien Wildlife Estate’s album and track titles ought to signpost the vibes going on here: super-synthetic weirdo textures that prove oddly compelling. Other-world soundscapes on Pacific City Sound Visions.
