Fabienne Delsol
Four

The functionally-titled fourth album from the brilliant Fabienne Delsol sparkles with ‘60s garage-rock throwback aesthetics and timeless pop sensibilities. Produced by the French star alongside Luke Oldfield and Toerag studios, original music and inspired cover versions share equal billing on Four.

King Salami and The Cumberland Three
Kiss My Ring

Ooph...rude! Oh that kind of ring. This is London garage rockers King Salami's fourth full length record. You may remember them from television's UK's Best Part Time Band where they showcased their ability to rework 50s and 60s blues and garage influence for modern ears. The Cumberland Three are ex members of the Parkinsons and together they blast out sweaty riotous music that recalls the Mummies, the Trashmen and Bo Diddley. Put on your dancing shoes right now.

Wild Billy Childish & CTMF
Marc Riley Session 2019

Legendary garage punk hero Wild Billy Childish dropped in on Marc Riley’s evening show on BBC Radio 6Music at around Easter time this year with his CTMF outfit and performed a session, with one newbie and three classics from Thee Headcoats. For those who missed it, they’re presented on a limited edition 7” EP!

Wild Billy Childish & CTMF
You're The One I Idolise / Everything Intensifies

You’re The One I Idolise is the first single to be taken from Last Punk Standing, the new album by the Godfather of Kent-based Garage Rock, Wild Billy Childish & CTMF. Childish says the track is a love song inspired by country/soul singer Arthur Alexander and New York punk, Richard Hell. He also likens it to the type of stuff he used to do with his band Thee Milkshakes. Features exclusive non-LP track, Everything Intensifies.

Wild Billy Childish & CTMF
Last Punk Standing

Last Punk Standing is the new album by Wild Billy Childish and CTMF. Artist, poet and musician, Childish is a legend of the Kent garage rock scene and has been making music with numerous bands since the late ‘70s. Last Punk Standing features a guest performance from the late Mark E. Smith, which must be one of his last ever appearances on record.

The Shadracks
Tranquil Salvation

The Shadracks are a garage rock band from the UK capital of garage rock, Medway, Kent. Their name is inspired by Leonard Rossiter’s character, Emanuel Shadrack, from the classic 1963 film Billy Liar. They've even even gone as far as crediting the press release to another character, Councilor Duxbury. Tranquil Salvation follows on from their 2018 debut full length album. The three track EP includes a cover of the Dead Moon track, Walking On My Grave.

Graham Day and The Forefathers
Good Things

Straight outta Medway, Graham Day and The Forefathers are a trio of infinite action: it would be almost impossible to list all the bands and albums these three have participated in, separately and together, over the years, but suffice to say: they know their garage-rock. Good Things is their 2014 (since out of print) round-up of new live performances of old favourite Day songs from across that extensive body of work. Plus three extra tracks on this reissue!

The Galileo 7
There Is Only Now

Psychedelically tinged garage-rock for fans of King Gizzard and Thee Oh Sees, There Is Only Now is the sixth studio album from psych-beat outfit The Galileo 7. Shamelessly retro it may be, but there’s always been total joy and conviction in the group’s output to date, and this should be no different.

Graham Day & The Gaolers
Just A Little / I'm Not The Only One

Medway garage rock legend, Graham Day formerly of The Prisoners and The Mighty Caesars (with fellow Medway garage rock legend, Billy Childish), is back. Graham Day and The Gaolers release their first new material in eleven years with a 7” single - Just A Little/I’m Not The Only One. All this because the drummer, Dan Eletxro, just happened to nip back from the states for a bit.

Billy Childish
Punk Rock Ist Nicht Tot

Punk Rock Ist Nicht Tot is a career-spanning compilation album by hugely prolific Godfather of the Kent punk and garage rock scene, Billy Childish. Contains songs from his work with The Pop Rivets, The Milkshakes, Thee Mighty Caesars, The Delmonas, Thee Headcoates and more. Sleeve notes by Stewart Lee.

Thee Headcoats
Elementary Headcoats (The Singles 1990 -1999)

Thee Headcoats were one of Billy Childish’s bands, active through 90’s. Elementary Headcoats compiles their 90’s singles, including the likes of ‘I’ve Been Fucking Your Daughters And Pissing On Your Lawn’. Scrappy, snotty, punkishness. Double CD or triple LP on the Damaged Goods label.

CTMF
Not Fade Away / I Wanna Be Your Man

Billy Childish awakes, disorientated and with a splitting headache, in a small room lit by a single naked lightbulb. There is nothing in the room save for him and the chair he sits on. His hands and feet are tied to the chair he sits on. He has no idea how long he’s been in the room and has no idea how he got there. Within ten minutes of waking up he has recorded three albums and written a novel.

Holly Golightly
Do The Get Along

Holly Golightly is pretty prolific. Do The Get Along is solo album number 13, not to mention the nine albums with The Broke-Offs and the healthy bunch of albums she made with her garage band, The Headcoatees. The former Billy Childish associate  gives us twelve more tracks that meld blues, folk and ‘60s beat music. LP and CD on Damaged Goods.

Thee Headcoats
In Tweed We Trust

Irreverent underground trio Thee Headcoats, one of the bands fronted by Kentish amateurist yelper, multimedia artist and wearer of impressive moustache Billy Childish, enjoys a reissue of its punkish, naughty 1996 record In Tweed We Trust. The songs sound as if they were recorded down a potato-powered telephone, and are all the better for it.

Miss Ludella Black
Till You Lie In Your Grave

Miss Ludella Black was formerly a member of The Delmonas, who when joined by Holly Golightly evolved into Thee Headcoatees. Both bands served as backing bands for Medway garage legend Billy Childish. Till You Lie In Your Grave is her third solo album and first in ten years. The album is mostly comprised of songs written by Mickey Hampshire, current member of The Masonics, Black's backing band here, and former member of Thee Milkshakes along with Billy Childish, and includes versions of songs by The Beatles and Black Sabbath. LP and CD on Damaged Goods.

Wild Billy Childish & CTMF
Acorn Man

Billy Childish is an awesome dude, by all accounts -- the kind of chap you’d have on your list of people that you’d love to have round for dinner, along with Einstein, Stephen Fry and Reece Shearsmith. Who would you have on your list? This album is stripped down punk dirge with pop elements. Vinyl and CD.

Amyl and the Sniffers
Big Attraction & Giddy Up

Punk’s not dead, and it will never die, and that’s because of Australia. Sorry - I meant it’s because of Australian groups. Groups like Amyl and the Sniffers. The two EPs bundled together here were each written and recorded in a matter of seconds, and that’s no bad thing. Tracks like ‘Blowjobs’ and ‘Mole (Sniff Sniff)’ buzz with a great spur-of-the-moment energy.

Holly Golightly
Singles Round-Up

Holly Golightly was a member of Thee Headcoatees. They were put together by Kent garage rock legend Billy Childish as his backing band before they decided to go it alone. Whilst Thee Headcoatees blended girl group-style pop with rudimentary garage rock, Holly Golightly’s solo career has seen her basing her sound on blues, folk rock and a gentler strain of rock ‘n’ roll. Singles Round-Up compiles the A and B sides of her first twelve singles, mixing covers, perhaps most interestingly her version of Pavement’s Box Elder, and self-penned tracks. Double LP and CD on Damaged Goods.

The Galileo 7
Tear Your Minds Wide Open!

Allan Crockford shows off his songwriting chops on Kent band The Galileo 7's fifth album, a rollicking psych-pop record packed to the rafters with stormy guitars, body-rocking bass and tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Recorded live to tape, you can hear just how tight the foursome’s harmonies are, unfettered by production wizardry.

CTMF
In The Devil's Focus

Billy Childish and pals did sessions for both Marc Riley and Gideon Coe on BBC 6 Music in July. This 10” collects both. These 10 tracks betray a new-found interest in the possibilities of granular synthesis… nah, you know exactly what to expect! Hashtag rocknroll, hashtag 77. Only 800 copies of this little beaut.

CTMF
What About Brian (Alt. Version) / The Fields In Mist

Billy Childish's current crew with an alternate version of a track from their fifth album, Brand New Cage. The A-side is an impassioned and perplexed protest at the omission of Brian Jones’ name from the plaque in Dartford Station commemorating the formation of the Stones. B-side exclusive to this 7”. As ever, zero progression, maximum class of 1977 vibes.

CTMF
I've Got A Conflicted Mind (Alt.Version) / In A Parallel World (Alt. Version)

CTMF are a loud rock/punk guitar band and on this 7” from Damaged Goods are two alternate versions from their recent LP, Brand New Cage. Exclusive to this release are I've Got A Conflicted Mind (Alt.Version) and In A Parallel World (Alt. Version). Both are fun, rock and roll cuts of old school guitar fun.

CTMF
Brand New Cage

Wild Billy Childish with yet another album here, more specifically his fifth in as many years with CTMF. While his work rate remains astonishing, what’s perhaps more impressive is that most of the stuff he comes up with is still pretty damn good. Cuts like ‘Are You Better Than Me?’ and ‘The Punk Was In Me (And It Had to Come Out)’ are delightfully pig-headed garage rock. New bassist Nurse Julie contributes two tracks to Childish’s ten. Out on Damaged Goods.

The Solarflares
Psychedelic Tantrum

Damaged Goods are reissuing some albums from the British pop/psych/rock/mod noughties group - The Solarflares. Printed for the first time since its initial release in 1999, Psychedelic Tantrum was the electric debut of the band. It could easily be a lost 1969 dancefloor gem for fuzzy boogie into the night.

The Solarflares
That Was Then... And So Is This

Damaged Goods are reissuing some albums from the British pop/psych/rock/mod noughties group - The Solarflares. Printed for the first time since its initial release in 2000, That Was Then...And So Is This is the band’s sophomore album and saw a more refined sound from the raucous group. But don’t let that fool you - there are good times to be had with this one!

The Solarflares
Can Satisfy You

Damaged Goods are reissuing some albums from the British pop/psych/rock/mod noughties group - The Solarflares. Printed for the first time since its initial release in 2003 and out on vinyl for the first time, Can Satisfy You is an album of studio and live cuts showcasing the dynamite covers of soul and rock classics the group are loved for.

Giuda
Yellow Dash / Kukulcan

Yellow Dash by Italian glam-rockers Giuda is taken from their second album Let’s Do It Again. The limited edition 7” is backed with  Kukulcan, an instrumental about the Maya snake deity, a track which is exclusive this single. Yellow Dash/Kukulcan is available on 7” yellow vinyl.

Butcher Boy
Bad Things Happen When It’s Quiet

Been awhile since we've heard from Butcher Boy (2011 to be exact) but here they are with three fresh new recordings - a three part story told from different perspectives. The band wrote the pieces whilst making trips to Cape Cod National Seashore and showcase a new ambitious take on their wordy, literate indie-pop.

Cowbell
Haunted Heart

Cowbell are a reliable source of southern-fried garage-blues rock action, with all the soul and grit of your classic favourites. New album Haunted Heart delivers on all those fronts, plus features actual use of a cowbell, apparently for the first time ever for Cowbell. And this most American of records was all recorded in London too! CD / LP on Damaged Goods.

The Milkshakes
After School Session

The Milkshakes were one of Billy Childish’s many many groups. Actually, they were one of his earliest, formed with Mickey Hampshire in 1980 after the demise of Pop Rivets. After School Session is filled with the flare of quick creative release and 60’s-esque garage beat vibes. Reissue on Damaged Goods.

The Milkshakes
Thee Knights Of Trashe

The Milkshakes were one of Billy Childish’s many many groups. Actually, they were one of his earliest, formed with Mickey Hampshire in 1980 after the demise of Pop Rivets. Thee Knights Of Trashe is a prime example of their lovely sound: the guitar bands of the 60s cranked up through a Medway garage filter. Reissue on Damaged Goods.

The Milkshakes
The Milkshakes Revenge! Trash From The Vaults

The Milkshakes were one of Medway garage punk Billy Childish’s many many groups. Actually, they were one of the first too, formed with Mickey Hampshire in 1980 after the demise of Pop Rivets. The Milkshakes Revenge! Trash From The Vaults was first issued in 1987 after all involved had already moved onto other things: now it has been revived once more!

CTMF
A Song For Kylie Minogue / True

CTMF is yet another group helmed by Billy Childish, the garage rock veteran and super-prolific artist. A Song For Kylie Minogue is taken from their new LP SQ 1, and the B-side True is exclusive to this single. The 7”s are pressed to either transparent red or transparent yellow vinyl, and are released by Damaged Goods.

Thee Headcoats
The Messerschmitt Pilot's Severed Hand

Thee Headcoats is just one of many Billy Childish projects, but apparently this album is a particular favourite of his. It does capture his garage-punk spirit pretty effectively, with lo-fi production and snotty tunes like ‘Blood Piss and Sperm’. First put out in 1997 and long out of print, The Messerschmitt Pilot’s Severed Hand is now reissued on Damaged Goods.

CTMF
SQ 1

CTMF is yet another group helmed by Billy Childish, the garage rock veteran and super-prolific artist: this is estimated to be his 150th LP. SQ 1 is another collection of fiercely joyous punk rock delivered with a snarl and a smile. Vinyl LP or CD packed in a sleeve designed by the band: out on Damaged Goods.

Holly Golightly
Slowtown Now!

Transatlantic garage-blues adventurer Holly Golightly hasn’t released a solo album for fully eleven years, a streak that is pleasingly broken by this here Slowtown Now! The record sounds classic already, digging deep into a Southern vibe of hot rock. Released as CD or vinyl on  the Damaged Goods label.

Thee Headcoatees
Sisters Of Suave

Thee Headcoatees, fronted by Holly Golightly, were formed by Kent’s favourite son, Billy Childish as the backing band for his group, Thee Headcoats. Their songs were mostly written by Billy Childish. They disbanded in 1999 and Sisters of Suave was their 8th and final album. Sisters of Suave is available on red coloured vinyl LP and CD.

Piney Gir
mR hYDE'S wILD rIDE

The sound of Piney Gir is a sound of handcrafted playful delicacy: indi pop that dips into all sorts of sounds and genres, a pleasing melodic melange. mR hYDE’S wILD rIDE (which is even more irritating to type than to read) has twelve songs, tracking a loose narrative of Gir’s experiences of life / love / loss. On Damaged Goods.

Severed Limb
If You Ain't Livin’ You’re A Dead Man

The rather deceptively named Severed Limb are a lot more fun than they might have you think at face value. If You Ain't Living You're A Dead Man is a bit of punk skiffle nonsense, its raw sound evoking the dingiest pubs and most makeshift of performances. On this one the dub influence is about to party.

Cowbell
She's All Over You

There’s a lot to be said for two piece bands. It’s a challenge to get an original sound when there’s just two of you. Thankfully, Cowbell have got round the issue by having two members playing multiple instruments in this garage rock track, including hand drumming, guitar, keys, shakers, multiple voices and some stylish melodies. 7” vinyl.

Cowbell
Skeleton Soul

The kind of rock band you have to employ different spellings of the word for -- like rawk, or rockin', or rock 'n' roll -- Cowbell mix a quick-hitting brand of garage rock with elements of blues and a good few moments of twang. On 'Skeleton Soul', the sound is a little less immediate, with a few flourishes other than guitars and drums creeping in amongst the duo's racket, including organs and sax.
