Langhorne Slim & The Law
The Spirit Moves

Langhorne Slim’s 2015 record with regular backing band The Law, circulated once more by the Dualtone label. The Spirit Moves is a vigorous album of down-home electric country rock, driven by vocal passion, banjo and electric guitar double-teaming, and some very nice horns. Yes sirree. Little Comets
Life Is Elsewhere

Following their highly acclaimed (NME, BBC Radio 1, The Guardian, Pitchfork, The Fader) 2001 UK debut album release ‘In Search of Elusive Little Comets’, UK based, kitchen sink indie trio Little Comets are back with a new album release ‘Life Is Elsewhere’. Layering compulsive beats over childlike melodies making for a musically deeper but equally compelling second album.

Delta Spirit
Ode To Sunshine

Ode To Sunshine is the debut album of Delta Spirit, first released in 2008. The group are four albums in now, but for fans looking back, this one has been out of print a while, and thus hard to find. Thankfully though, Dualtone have stepped in with this 180g vinyl reissue to sate the fans’ need for Delta Spirit’s 60s-inspired indie.

Delta Spirit
Into The Wide

Delta Spirit join the War on Drugs, the National, Strand of Oaks and many more in taking queues from Americana but turning it into an anxious, epic genre that bursts from its seams. These country-leaning songs are covered with shimmering effects, pounding drums and an urgent vocal performance as its centrepiece. Thanks for making this possible, Waterboys. 'Into The Wide' is, of course, massive. It goes straight for the heart.

The Felice Brothers
Favorite Waitress

Technically, this is the tenth album by Catskill mountain-dwelling troubadours The Felice Brothers. Earlier releases, such as 2007's Tonight at the Arizona and the excellent 2008 eponymous record, were raw and ramshackle, with satisfying glitches in the recording (such as, where lightning hit the chicken coop they were recording in) and fuzzy, raucous live performances. Since then, their sound has inevitably become more polished, and 2014's Favorite Waitress is a much more considered affair. Blips and rawness aside, the songwriting does shine through. Double vinyl gatefold, limited stock.
