Well I was already confused before I started listening, I started typing The Mountain Goats and thought it was a CD. It's neither. It's 'Stealing Sheep' with a record called 'The Mountain Dogs', I'm listening to it on CD but its out on 7" vinyl. Thank goodness then that the lead track is a joyful blast of rinky-dinky indie charm pop with Cocoros...view item
The efficiently named Young British Artists are the latest young whipper snappers to have a limited edition 7" record out and I must say for a debut it shows real promise. The flipside is also pretty good and it's quite refreshing to hear something with a bit of gusto like this. It's limited to 300 copies so you'd best get it ...view item

We're all quite taken with this Benjamin Wetherill CD on Ba Da Bing. He's based around these parts IE west Yorkshire, but he sounds like he's from another galaxy, a galaxy where folk musicians use their prowess to seduce the ladies with their silver tongue or in Benjamin's case use their guitar as a form of heartbreak therapy. He's a melancholy cha...view item
