Embryo
It Do

Christian Burchard has led the ever-changing Dadaist jazz-rock collective Embryo for the best part of fifty years. He has brought his multi-instrumentalist daughter, Marja, on board for his latest venture. It Do gets its name by reversing the phrase ‘Do It’ which was used as a slogan in the sixties by hipster types. The band hail from Munich but have travelled far and wide picking up influences and musicians along the way. In 1970, Embryo played at the Fehmarn open air festival immediately after Jimi Hendrix had left the stage following his last ever live performance.
