John Frusciante
The Empyrean (10 Year Anniversary Issue)

The last Frusciante reissue we got in - 2005's 'Curtains' - ended up being our surprise best seller of 2019, such is the almost cult-like devotion his solo work enjoys and the sheer demand for it on vinyl. Originals of 2009's 'The Empyrean' sometimes fetch similarly silly prices over on Discogs, and so we're expecting this latest reissue - featuring contributions from Jonny Marr and RHCP bandmate Flea - to fly off the shelves too. Be quick!

Blake Mills
Blake Mills

I hadn't even heard of Blake Mills despite this album ten years old (and therefore ripe for re-issue) but turns out he was in the Americana band Dawes and has produced anything from Laura Marling to Alabama Shakes. This was his debut album and was only initially available in a limited run and so this will be the first time it has been available to many listeners. Eric Clapton has called him 'phenomenal' but please don't let that put you off.

John Frusciante
Curtains

John Frusciante enjoyed two stints as guitarist in Red Hot Chili Peppers from 1988-1992 and 1998-2009. Frusciante’s solo albums have a bit of a cult following and there’s quite a lot of them too, 14 in fact. Curtains was his eighth album, originally released in 2005. It features guest spots from Autolux drummer, Carla Azar, upright bassist Ken Wild and regular collaborator, Mars Volta and At The Drive-In guitarist, Omar Rodrigues-Lopez.
