Origins EP

Dan Curtin’s Planetary project made a couple of EPs of astral techno in the early ‘90s. The second of these, 1993’s Origins, combined keening synths and plenty of psychedelic production tricks with clattering breaks. It's deep-space stuff. With the current trend for revivalist rave sounds bringing this sort of thing very much back into vogue of late, now feels like a good time for Origins to be given the reissue treatment. Metamorphic Recordings oblige.

Endorphin EP

Twenty year after the Midwest's Titonton got his Endorphin EP pressed to vinyl, it is now being reissued on Metamorphic Recordings and remastered to ensure it still sounds crisp on your soundsystem of choice. Four tracks of decidedly funky electro that are positively dripping and tripping with creativity.
